Hello!
My name is Janát Love, and I am the founder of Love’s Linguistics Speech Therapy.
Throughout my career, I’ve remained committed to helping individuals regain their voice, improve their communication, and reclaim their independence. My passion lies in supporting adults with cognitive-communication deficits and aphasia, providing compassionate, functional therapy that empowers them in their daily lives.
My Story
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Central Missouri and went on to receive my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Maryville University. I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of settings—including schools, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice—which has given me a well-rounded perspective and clinical expertise in treating a wide range of speech and language disorders.
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy, partnering with individuals and their families or caregivers to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals and needs. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and am licensed by the state of Missouri.
Thank you for considering Love’s Linguistics Speech Therapy for your speech and language care. I’m honored to be part of your journey.
